Another day, another A-Z scam

A customer has opened an A-Z claim based on nothing but falsehood. He was provided with a prepaid return label from UPS, like so many customers we had before him, and he falsely claims the label is handmade and wouldn't be accepted by UPS. He also complained about the size of what is a normal sized label, which is something we have no control of anyway. Will Amazon keep entertaining these scammers? I've been telling their support agents for days that this person has ill intentions and he won't stop with the claim, he'll also drop me a negative review based on nothing but falsehood. How does Amazon plan to protect its sellers? Are A-Z claims granted without question?

UPDATE: He's been granted his claim. As usual. The reason given by the A-Z team which was that I didn't respond to the buyer's request within 48 hours is false, just granting the claim to the buyer purely because he's a buyer. This is disgraceful. It's impossible to do business here.

Hello @All_E,

Ricardo from Amazon here.

I can request another review from our Escalations team.

If you want, please reply with the Case ID related to this A-to-Z claim so I can pass the information along.

The claim is for ORDER 701-3073035-1460253. Amazon have responded by simply saying that they stand by their decision, once again without providing any cause. Please get back to me ASAP, I've noticed that posts are replied only once and then forgotten here.

I've received a reply, saying that I didn't prove delivery. Note that this is the first time delivery has been brought up, I'm totally convinced that your A-Z team just brings up a random reason every time. In any case, the item was sent with Canada Post and the tracking ID is 7100848343154091. I'm just skipping over the fact that this entire dispute was about a return label and how an item that was never delivered could possibly be returned anyway... Please escalate this issue further and give me an actual answer, not something you pull out of the blue.

I've received their response. As usual, it reads:

Hello,

We have reviewed the buyer’s claim and the information you provided for order 701-3073035-1460253.

Although we understand your position, we stand by our decision.

Thank you.

-Amazon

No explanation provided, no reason given. No answer to the questions I raised. Maybe it's time we try something different and have an actual person who understands the problem review my claim?

UPDATE: My BuyBoxes are now gone thanks to this fraud. Keep going Amazon, you're doing a great job.

Hello All_E,

This is the information received from our Escalations team:

"After reviewing your request, we have determined the seller will remain responsible for this claim associated to order #701-3073035-1460253 based on the details and circumstances of this transaction. We cannot reverse our decision for this dispute because UPS denied accepting the pre-paid label approved by seller. As Seller missed to provide local return address, valid pre-paid return label or returnless refund within 48 hours of approving return request, claim was correctly granted to customer. "

Hi Ricardo,

Please find the reply I got from UPS' fraud department attached here. The buyer's claims that my label was invalid and hand-made is based on nothing but lies, and this is the proof of it. I am more than happy to upload the actual label here as well, anyone with a smartphone and the UPS app can scan the label and see that it's valid. Please reverse the effect of this claim at once and give me my money back.

Regards,

All-E
