New listing keeps getting flagged as MEDICAL DEVICE II - product is NOT a medical device, my submissions are being ignored!

@Jurgen_Amazon@JiAlex_Amazon@Ricardo_Amazon

Hello, Amazon team and moderators,

I have been trying to get my new listing/product reinstated for over a month now, but every appeal I submit is being ignored with the same copy-paste response: "We received your appeal for the ASIN B0F27NB1LJ. The ASIN is identified as a Class II medical device, and we are unable to reactivate your ASINs at this time."

However, this classification is incorrect for the following reasons:

My product does not meet the criteria for a Class II medical device – I have confirmed this with both Amazon’s compliance team and Health Canada.

There are dozens of identical products currently listed in the Beauty category on Amazon without any restrictions.

Every time I speak to an Amazon rep over the phone, they agree that my product is misclassified and tell me to submit an appeal with photos—yet every submission gets instantly dismissed without being reviewed properly.

I have exhausted every other avenue to resolve this before escalating here. This back-and-forth has been ongoing for over a month, preventing me from selling my product while competitors continue selling identical items without issue.

I am requesting immediate intervention from a moderator or Amazon compliance specialist to:

Review my case manually (without auto-responses)

Remove the incorrect medical classification

Reactivate my listing so I can resume business

This situation is severely impacting my operations, and I need a real solution—not another automated response. Please advise on next steps or escalate this to the appropriate team.

Thank you.

Steps I have already taken:

Verified product is NOT a Medical class II with health Canada, and Amazon customer service via phone, submitted 4 cases, one month of contesting, reviewed every detail of product listing to ensure compliance with Amazon standards.

This morning I received another email that was literally another copy paste as every other email I had been receiving. "We received your appeal for the ASIN B0F27NB1LJ. The ASIN is identified as a Class II medical device, and we are unable to reactivate your ASINs at this time."

No new information, still misclassifying my ASIN, and ignoring my disputes!!!! Please advise, this is incredibly frustrating.

Hello @Seller_92nbapsB3Yd4E

Christine here.

I just heard from the team in charge.

They had reviewed your case and confirm that the information provided was accurate, and they can not reinstate the ASIN B0F27NB1LJ until you submit the documents requested previously.

Note: Upload the valid Medical Device License (MDL) and Device ID for the device (using Safety and Compliance tab in Seller Central) or Authorization and Device ID for UPHN medical devices in ASIN details. and Provide a valid Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL) number and attach your MDEL document from Health Canada and reach out to the standard appeal path for further investigation.

What aspect of the product is being flagged for it to trigger "medical classification?" because like I said I had already confirmed with health Canada, called amazon support and went through details of my product specifically. As per Amazon guidelines it is not a medical device, its quite literally a heated massager, with low frequency LEDs, nothing more, nothing less. Obtaining medical license for a non medical device is not an option. The team is not reviewing my case seriously, I am getting an auto-triggered, copy paste response, since day 1.

check your title, product info make sure there are no medical claims made anywhere on the listing including the infographics. if you made a any medical claims it'll be tagged as a medical device until the claim is removed even though the item is not an actual medical device. for example Claims to “treat” or “cure” specific medical conditions (e.g., arthritis, fibromyalgia) or relieve pain.

Yes we fully revised our listing, to omit anything that can be misconstrued under medical classification, however it seems that just because it was auto-triggered the first time, they now wont take an actual look and review the revised listing and remove that block on it. Cant seem to get any real information from anyone, literally just copy paste responses, contested the case over 5 times and it was auto-closed each time.

oh man! try opening a new case from scratch and explaining everything in the new case. amazon just doesnt do well with case reopening specially if its been flagged a bunch of times

hope you get it resolved.
