Can Amazon "discontinue " aka closed fBA listing with inventory?
I noticed this morning one of the fba listing looks closed and I didn’t definitely close it bc has current inventory for st.patricks day. I have contacted Amazon and I was told that it was “discontinued from Amazon’s catalog and seller support is unable to provide more information about it “
Now have to create removal for the inventory and create new listing ..
is that Something normal for Amazon? Why there is no explanation? is this allowed?

Hey @Seller_5oo3HdVyIke8i, I'm very sorry to hear this happened. Do you mind sharing an affected SKU/ASIN so we can investigate deeper?

Hey @Seller_5oo3HdVyIke8i, I checked with our FBA team and seems that with no active listing the FBA inventory is stranded as there is no link to purchase the product so it will be sent back when they create the removal order.
Their recommendations were:
1) You can try to appeal via the link provided in the email you received.
2) The only way to re-activate listing would be to make changes.
And 3) Delay the auto removal for 30 days, that way if it does get restored you may be able to leverage that inventory still.
