Amazon seems to be enticing buyers to file false Item Not Received claims
In the last 2 days I've had two instances of Amazon showing "Package delayed in transit" in the tracking right when the deliver by date goes by, but in reality the package was already delivered days earlier before the Deliver By date when you track it on the USPS site. In addition to Amazon somehow messing this up, they are also messaging buyers about their very late shipment, which was actually delivered, and evidently telling them that they can request a refund. So, these buyers, which according to the USPS did receive their items on time, are messaging requesting a refund because Amazon is showing that their item is still running late and sent them a message. They don't mention, as I suspect, that they actually did receive the item. I just send the buyers to file A-Z claims since I purchased the shipping through Amazon and shipped on time, but I bet this is costing Amazon.

Let's see how many of those get instantly accepted and seller faulted :-( This place has become such a mess.....and they just keep pushing their automation into oblivion

I have one of these too where USPS shows delivery but the info on Amazon is incorrect and the buyer is requesting a refund.

Yes, this has been happening to me for a couple of years. I ordered a case of glasses, they were delivered, washed, put away; we were using them for a week and Amazon kept trying to get me to file a claim because tracking didn't show they'd been delivered yet. It's happened several times with several products. I can understand the temptation; I'm sure many people take advantage of this flagrant offer for free stuff.

We have had more refund not recived A to Z claims filed lately, I have to think Amazon is encouraging this. The claims are coming nearly the same day the return reaches our office

Of course they are.
Amazon sends them messages ad nauseum for weeks.
We've had Amazon's Customers complain to us again and again to stop sending them emails as the had received their order as expected.
Eventually even normally honest and moral Amazon Customers are lured to the Dark-Side and ask for the free refund Amazon keeps offering them.
And VOILA!!
Amazon grooms another innocent into their seedy world of Scamdom!!!

And why not? Transferring your money to their customers is a brilliant business model.
Of course, a company would have to be full of unethical scumbags who figure they're doing the lord's work as long as the share price keeps going up, to think of this in the first place, but you can't have everything (unless you're an Amazon buyer).

Remember most sellers are competitors to Amazon, so it is in Amazon's best interests to make mistakes that benefit Amazon's customers at the expense of its competitors.
Any profit you make is viewed as money left on the table by Amazon.

Amazon no longer follows their own policies, the last 3 A-Z claims I've had amazon has granted the buyer a full refund seller funded even though the package is showing shipped and delivered with in the required time frame. The common response from Amazon is, We see you shipped the product as required and tracking is showing the package as delivered but the customer says they didn't receive it so we have granted the buyer as seller funded but this will not count against your ORD. It seems that all the buyer has to say is I didn't receive the package and the seller won't respond or help me even though I've responded to the message with in the required 24hr time frame. Appealing the fraudulent claims from these customers has become impossible. Admins can you please help out with these issues.

I agree. I also sell at eBay and my own websites. Such claims of not receiving items despite of USPS tracking showing item delivered appear at my Amazon Seller account often and almost none at my eBay account nor my websites.
