Urgent Request to Escalate Issue with Inventory Stuck in "Reserved FC-Processing" for Over 40 Days
Hello,
I am currently experiencing an issue with Reserved FC processing. 156 units of my inventory have been stuck in the "Reserved FC-Processing" status for about 40 days. Upon investigation, I found that all these 156 units are from with the same FBA Shipment ID: FBA187W20VZZ. The entire shipment is stuck in Reserved FC processing.
At the moment, these ASINs are listed as "out of stock," and I am unsure when they will be available for sale. These products are seasonal summer-related cosmetic items, and I already have customers inquiring about their availability. This situation is causing me significant stress, and I would like to request that this issue be escalated to resolve it as quickly as possible, as I know this process can take a long time.
I have contacted Seller Support, but their response was not helpful. They kept explaining that "Reserved FC-Processing" means the items are sidelined for verification, but I don't believe this is the case, as there are multiple units for each ASIN. They wouldn't need multiple items for verification, and does this process really take more than 40 days?
I don't think so. Could someone please assist us with this matter?
Thank you so much for any help!!!

40 days is getting to be long. and it's not unheard of. Once items have been in reserved _fc-processing for 60 days we start asking for a reimbursement for lost units. Some times that kicks things into gear and suddenly the units are sellable.
No real solution, just commiserating with you.

There is not much you can do about this situation.
You have summer-related product and we sell product that has a best before date. Our most popular product was lost in a fulfillment center transit (showing as reserved) and didn't pop up until it expired. We went out of stock and those lost items would have sold easily when they were still well before the expiration date.
Requesting a compensation from Amazon didn't result in anything. Their answer was that we should have sent those items to Amazon 270 days prior to product expiration date.

I hope they don't have an expiration date because summer is over.

We have noticed that since FBA change their inbound policy where you can select to ship to 1, 3, or 5 locations, the receiving times have dramatically increased.
We used to have about 85 days of inventory for FBA. Approximately, 40 days of inventory at FBA, 30 days of inventory in transit to FBA, and 15 days of FBA inventory that are warehouse was preparing to ship to FBA (takes us about 10-15 days to prepare a shipment as we do assemble products at our location). This was causing some of our items to go out of stock because FBA is now receiving them too slowly.
With the new FBA shipping changes, we now have increased our FBA inventory to about 105 days: 40 days of inventory at FBA, 50 days of inventory in transit to FBA, and 10-15 days of inventory being prepared to ship to FBA.
Unfortunately, it seems that 40-50 days for FBA to receive shipped inventory is pretty normal right now.
Since we do an FBA shipment about every 10-15 days, at any given time, we have 4-5 different shipments in transit to FBA, given that it is now taking 40-50 days for FBA to receive a shipment.

Hi @Seller_NviTcs4dJWDXT,
Thank you for reaching out about this! I truly apologize for the frustration this has caused.
As much as I wish I could, I am unfortunately unable to expedite FC processing. At this time, I'd encourage you to continue keeping an eye on your units. If this situation is not resolved after those 60 days are completed, you can follow the steps of submitting a claim right here.
Please continue to keep me updated on this shipment! If you have any additional questions, please let me know.
All the best,
Jameson
