Is Vine Review really honest and fair to sellers?
Amazon need to more carefully select Vine Reviewer for the advertising program which should help new sellers to establish fair reviews! I We launched luggage set and decided to use Vine reviewer to test our luggage to receive fair reviews, and had really bad experience! It is hurting the intention and purpose of using Vine program.
I had 1 Vine reviewer who accused our product being "used" item. She claims that some of our luggage wheels are dirty when she received (frist pic) and there are some scuff marks on the luggage. Before she posted reviews, she contacted me through seller central message and send me some photos and her complain! I did not want to start argument with Vine reviewer and nicely explained it is not possible because our luggage are packed and shipped (second pic) directly from the manufacturer.
She did not mentioned anything about the functionality of the luggage such as wheels, handle, zipper, etc. which normal person will look for the quality of the luggage. I noticed the photo (first pic) she sent us and the photo was taken outside somewhere asphalt! No wonder wheels are dirty!
I suspect maybe she wanted another set of luggage from us and when I did not responded, she posted 1 star review and commented " Never buy this product" . She did not buy this product in first place, she got it for FREE!
I tried to contact Amazon help centre numerous time to investigate this Vine Reviewer but their answer was always same! Send email to "community-help". It has been almost 1 month since I sent email but haven't heard anything yet!
My conclusion is
Vine Review program is not fair to sellers. Amazon is not fairly selecting professional reviewers and out of 10 Vine shipment, only half of reviewers are posting the reviews. I am paying the Vine fee, my product ($199/each) and FBA fee. If I am not getting the any reviews from the Vine reviewer, why should I give away my product?

We have had a good experiance with the Vine program.
I would be concerned about luggage purchased new that had wheels that look used as well.

I am sorry you have had an unsatisfactory experience with Vine reviews. In order to ensure Vine Voice reviews are informative and helpful, we expect reviewers to use the product before writing a review.
The terms and conditions prohibit contact between Vine Voices and selling partners, other than for the purpose of regular customer support. You must not try to contact them. If you do, you risk investigation by Amazon and you could lose your selling account.
To cancel your Vine enrollment, access your Vine application in Seller Central then click Cancel or Stop. You should only have the option to Stop because you have had units claimed.
