Eight days is not an unusual length of time for the receiving process. You can read about the timeline here: Track your shipments: Shipping Queue and Shipment Summary, however, the process frequently takes longer than those listed times. Fulfillment Centers receiving a large volume of shipments at once, or if there are any packaging/prep/labeling issues are common reasons for delayed receiving times.
