Brand which is not registered
Do you know if I can use the name of my brand which is not registered yet, so I can avoid to use "Generic product"? Brand name and store name matches, but my brand is still pending to start a registration process.
Also I would like to know if I can purchase GTIN on GS1 using the my brand name which is not registered yet, I just want the GTINS associated with the name in case I start the process on the next few months.

Good Evening @Seller_hX6CMnEo1MRbv,
Thank you for reaching out to us on the Seller Forums. 😊
To answer your first question regarding brand name policy:
Amazon considers a brand to be a name that represents a product or set of products. Products from the same brand share a common name, logo, or other identifying mark that appears on the product or packaging, and are distinguished from similar products that do not belong to that brand. Brands often have trademarks that act as a common name or logo.
For example, the AmazonBasics brand produces a number of different products such as backpacks, batteries, and kitchen supplies. All AmazonBasics products must have AmazonBasics in the brand attribute, regardless of the ASIN title or seller.
A brand cannot be an ASIN’s SKU, a description of the ASIN, or any other name that is not reflected in branded products or packaging. Your seller account name will not be considered a valid brand unless your products or their packaging are branded with that name as well. Branding on products and packaging must also be permanently affixed.
If your products or packaging are not branded, but you have a registered trademark for your brand, you can enroll in Brand Registry, which will allow you to list ASINs with your brand’s name as the brand value.
To answer your second question around GTIN (Valid UPCs):
We verify the authenticity of product UPCs by checking the GS1 database. UPCs that do not match the information provided by GS1 will be considered invalid. Obtain your UPCs directly from GS1 (and not from other third parties selling UPC licenses) to ensure the appropriate information is reflected in the GS1 database.
Important: All invalid product UPC listings will be removed and may result in your ASIN creation or selling privileges being temporarily or permanently removed. For more information on licensing UPCs from GS1, see the GS1 standard website.
Lastly, I am not sure what type of product you plan to sell, however Product ID (GTIN) vary by category so please review the linked help page to ensure your product will be in compliance.
Feel free to let us know if you have any questions regarding the information I have provided above. Have a fantastic week!
Cheers, Cooper_Amazon
