Product categorized as acne treatment
Hi,
I'm selling post-shave product that contains salicylic and glycolic acid and Amazon has flagged it as acne treatment and require DIN / NPN number. The product is purely cosmetics. I have removed all mentioned of acne on the product page yet Amazon bot persistantly asking for DIN/NPN. This is a horrrible seller experience not having any real human iteraction in such a delicated matter - I have inventory inbounding and having this ASIN removed from the catalog is a huge loss and headache.
I'm frustrated by Amazon's negligence and the incompetence from your support and policy team that can't even tell the product from drug/restricted product and failed to even highlight what statement is violating your policy - There is really no mention of acne left on the PDP.
P/s : to any new sellers considering selling on Amazon, don't! Saving your headache for something else more worthwhile. With all the increasing fee, non-existent support, fickle policies, this is really not worth it!

Hello @Seller_KhXhSXj4BUx8c
Thank you for the information provided regarding the recent impact to your listing. I understand that the issue was the product being flagged as acne treatment which does require a DIN/NPN number to be provided alongside it. I know this can be frustrating when you have been actively trying to make edits to get the listing in compliance, so I do want to provide some insight to you.
You mention having made adjustments to the product detail page to ensure there is no mention of acne, but what about the product packaging and images? If there are indications in the images or packaging that the product could be used for acne, then the violation will be considered valid. Please be aware that if you do make changes to the packaging, you may be required to create a new ASIN.
I would like to further review the situation to better understand what steps you have taken up to this point. Would you be able to share any case IDs or the ASIN that is being impacted? If you have any other details that go with this situation, we will ask that you provide them to this thread for support.
Best,
Atlas
