Vendor Central Title Needs To Be Updated - Can't Update Due to "Winning contributor"
I am updating the title of my listings on Vendor Central but they keep on saying this:
"Kindly know, upon checking, I can confirm you are not the winning contributor.
Although you are verified as the brand owner, our system is designed to create catalog content based on multiple factors from different contributors. As a result, product details may not appear exactly as you’ve requested on product detail pages.
The winning contributor is selected by an automated system that we cannot influence nor override.'
We already updated 29 out of 36 ASINs so i understand how to resolved this issue.
We cannot provide misleading information information on customers

This is a typical canned response. I have books that we manufacture and are the only seller of the book. When we try to change something, I get a similar response. I think the bots are running the show now. Maybe if your speak bot, you'll get somewhere, but I've had no luck so far.

If you have a seller central account be sure to update that title too. If you do not consider making one. Sometimes the 'two' contributions from you will push it through.

Even on VC owned listings fixing titles has become a nightmare. They decided a while back to ignore titles and "create them" using different info on the listing on our VC listings. Then again, what arbitrary decision hasn't become a nightmare?

The next steps would be to contact the brand registry team using your vendor account to reactivate your brand in order to continue updating the information you are trying to edit. When you file the case with the brand registry team, please let us know what the case ID is so I can follow along with the investigation.
