25 cubic feet FBA storage limit

Good day all,

Here is my question. As a new seller by individual seller, I make order about 25 cubic feet about 100pc from manufacturer already. what happened if I shipped more than 15cubic feet to amazon?

Do I have to pay extra fee for this or how do I do this?

I am a foreign seller in US marketplace.

Hi @Seller_Qjbs3AQH2zX6d,

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help. Individual selling accounts have a capacity limit of 15 cubic feet; this limit doesn’t change and is not eligible to be increased.

If you exceed your capacity limits, you’ll be blocked from creating shipments to Amazon, and your account may be charged overage fees:

  • Creating new shipments to Amazon: If your on-hand inventory plus shipments on the way to our fulfillment centers exceeds your capacity limit, you’ll be blocked from creating new shipments to Amazon. You’ll also be blocked if you are below your capacity limit, but the quantity of units that you’re attempting to ship would result in exceeding your limit.
  • Overage fees: You will be charged overage fees if your on-hand inventory in Amazon’s fulfillment centers (not including open shipments) exceeds your capacity limit. Overage fees are charged on the inventory held above your limit. For current rates, go to FBA inventory storage overage fees.

Best,

Dominic
