Yes, as Amazon said "just because you are buy box eligible doesn't mean you will get buy box".

The algorithm decides which seller will get the buybox on a particular product. Pricing isn't the only factor, a seller's ratings, account health, feedback, all also matter. If other sellers have better metrics than you, they'll be favoured for the buybox. That said, there isn't really any transparency as to the specifics of why any particular seller gets the buybox on a particular product over another seller, so it isn't the case that anyone can really say what you need to do to get the buybox back.

The only advice I can really offer is: to keep on keeping on, continue to price your products competitively, confirm and ship your orders promptly, be as helpful as you can if/when customers contact you with questions, try to provide the best customer service you can, and either the buybox will come back to you, or it won't.
