Do I need suffocation warning label for poly bags with 11cm opening?
Hi Amazon team,
We are preparing a large-volume FBA shipment of individually packaged products in 11cm x 24cm self-sealing OPP poly bags (approx. 4.33” x 9.4”). According to the FBA prep requirements, suffocation warnings are required for poly bags with an opening of 5 inches (12.7cm) or more.
Since our bag opening is 11cm, can we omit the suffocation warning label?
We are seeking an official confirmation to ensure compliance before inbound shipping.
Thanks for your help.

Technically you do not need a suffocation warning on the poly bags. But, we apply warnings to all of our poly bags, even when they are under 5" opening.

As pointed out, your bags would be compliant without the warnings.
But this is Amazon. If there is no warning on the bag, expect Amazon to prove that you don't need it, and deactivate your listing until you do. Be prepared for this to happen on every shipment you send to FBA when Billy-Bob thinks that your bag is big enough to need the warning.

I have a similar question, but the Amazon policy is conflicted. Here is a quote:
Suffocation warning on poly bags
A suffocation warning is required on any poly bag that has an opening 5 inches or larger (measured as the diameter when flat). The warning must be printed on the bag itself, or attached as a label.
END QUOTE
Lying a bag flat to measure its opening is NOT measuring the opening's diameter, it is measuring one half of the opening's circumference if that opening were held in a circular configuration. A bag with a 5" opening will form a circular opening with a circumference of 10", a circle with a circumference of 10" has a diameter of 3.2"
Now that you understand the math, re-read the Amazon policy above and tell me if it makes unambiguous sense.
