There is this really insane "feature" that Amazon has where it will spend 25% more than your cap if you have a day where you spend less than your cap.

You have to be aware of this setting and if you never want it to go above a certain amount, you have to put your budget cap a little less than you think.

The spend may go 25% or 100% more than the budgeted amount on Sponsored Products, based on whatever you have selected in "Average daily budget increase" under Settings.

You have to also check Sponsored Display Ads budget, as their spend is not covered in that budget. They have independent budget which is on Campaign level only.

Hello @Seller_7BK18nBuaqhtX- thanks for joining us on the seller forums, and I'm glad to see the community has already offered some insight here!

You can read further on the functionality of the daily budget on this advertising help page, which does provide some context changing your daily budget settings. At the end of the month, you won't spend more than the daily budget you’ve set, multiplied by the number of days in that month. Your invoice will be adjusted for any over-delivery, so that you won't be charged for any amount in excess of your monthly charging limit. You will also receive a notification when your campaign reaches its daily budget.

I hope this helps, but let me know any other questions!

do any sellers have experience with Amazon "adjusting" the invoice deducted amount so that you weren't charged for the excess amount over the monthly spending limit?

I have only ever heard of Amazon overcharging sellers and over-spending on the ads system.

Is there a GUARANTEE posted anywhere that the fees will be "adjusted" to cover overspending, or is that just a theoretical word-of-mouth possibility that has never actually happened?
