Question about shipping to FBA warehouse
I am very confused how Amazon is choosing a warehouse when you send products for FBA. This is not the first time it happens.
I am resident of Ontario. My latest shipment was sent to Calgary YYC4 warehouse. After receiving process almost all products were sent back to and fulfillment center in Ontario.
I understand when the products need to be spread between multiple fulfilment centers but sending it back to the province of origine I found it as big waste of money.

To deliver your products as quickly as possible to buyers, we distribute your inventory across our network of fulfillment centers based on your shipment volume and customer demand. As a result, when you create a shipping plan, your shipment may be divided into multiple shipments, each directed to a different reception center or fulfillment center (a process called distributed inventory placement).
