Amazon not collecting taxes on my behalf

I don't know why this is happening, but Amazon has not been collecting taxes on my orders. I am not collecting HST or GST. The only taxes I am collecting are PST and QST from BC and Quebec. I have my product tax code set up as default, but that should enable Amazon to collect taxes on my behalf. I have other seller accounts with the same set up that have all been collecting taxes. Please help!

I just checked my tax history, and all of my products were categorized under A_GEN_NOTAX, when my product tax code was default. Shouldn't Amazon collect and remit taxes on my behalf if my product tax code was default? Why did it switch to A_GEN_NOTAX automatically?

No taxes showing from orders, when we want to put our taxes under Canada Quebec, nothing. It just reload the pages no error code no nothing. We tried to call and get help but nobody really know. So now what we understand is that we need to repay taxes that we never got!

If you find a solution please let us know!

my default tax setup for me didn't work initially either, make sure under products > edit > on the offer page, the tax box is set to: A_GEN_TAX

Then in your account tax settings, you have your GST/HST number setup/saved.
