Restricted Products illegal drug
Suddenly i received a notification that Some of the product variations has been identified by amazon "illegal drug"
The only problem is that the products are not illegal drug, instead just a simple CA Glue De-Bonder.
No information was provided of why this product has been classified this way
I submitted an appeal and not getting clear response of why it happened
Appeal team is telling to:
1. Kindly Upload all sides of product images and also images of product that clearly shows the ingredients list to the product detail page for further review.
2. Upload the ingredient list of your product to the detail page for review
I uploaded actual images of the product but on the product listing no exact section with List of ingredients, only Statement "Contains nitrocarbol"
Created a case with amazon Case ID 13799071661 but they still telling me the same thing over again
Product listed in cyanoacrylate-adhesives and there is no such section of List of ingredients.
Is there any way to find out why the product has been identified this way?

Since I am a curious person I googled for CA Glue De-Bonder and learned that this is a glue remover. Adding drug at this search, indeed there is said that this is "ecstasy in a bottle".
"There is a chemical in some debonders called 'Gamma-Butyrolactone', or GBL for short. In some debonders, it is almost entirely GBL in the bottle. Unfortunately, this chemical is pretty dangerous stuff. There’s a whole bunch of science-y stuff, but I’m not even going to go there. Here’s the skinny: It’s ecstasy in a bottle that is used sometimes as a d....... drug, and people just generally getting high."
So just forget it. Amazon will never allow the sale.

I understand you received communication stating a product you have listed for sale has been identified as an illegal drug. I would like to provide further insight into the policy as well as ask relevant questions in order to assist you in appealing the violations.
I also looked into the case ID you have provided and see the information you have previously submitted. I do appreciate this information.
All sellers are required to follow the applicable local, state, and federal laws in addition to Amazon policies. This particular policy provides a good list of the prohibited items, compounds, chemicals, and etc...
Is there a specific drug-related word found within the listing? Is there more than just one ingredient found within the de-bonder? Is there any information from the manufacturer you can submit, alongside what you have previously submitted?
I urge you to look over the linked policy page for the fully list of prohibited items and compare your listing with anything that is related to a prohibited item. Amazon will not allow the sale of an item if there is any mention of or link to a drug or prohibited item in the listing.
Please continue to ask further questions and provide relevant updates, as the forums community and I are here to support you.
All the best,
Stevie
