Amazon Misclassifying Bromine Tablets as Flammable Hazmat Despite SDS
Hi everyone,
We’ve recently started selling Bromine Tablets on Amazon, but we’ve run into an issue where Amazon is classifying the product as a dangerous good (Hazmat - Flammable).
We have submitted the SDS (Safety Data Sheet), which clearly states that the product is not flammable, but despite that, Amazon keeps rejecting it and continues to classify it as a flammable dangerous good. We’ve reached out to Seller Support multiple times, but unfortunately, we’re not getting any helpful response or resolution.
Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with Bromine Tablets or a similar product? If so, how did you resolve it? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Seller_VvIe5rrGVYAcL,
Thanks for posting here. I've reviewed the details of this request and see that case 17443827111 is currently open with the team who is actively looking into the issue and is providing updates.
Please allow the team time to review this and get back to you with an update. If you see that the case resolves later and still need help, let me know here and I'll look into seeing what options exist for escalation.
Regards,
- Manny
