Shipping to G4T Still Blocked? Canada Post Strike Over – What’s the Holdup?
It's June 27, and customers in G4T zip code cannot order my products. They stopped shipping to that rural area because the last leg is managed by Canada Post (it is an island and all carriers including UPS and Purolator, do the same. They blamed the Canada Post employees pressure tactics but that is over and they resolved their issues with a new work contract/ Anybody knows when the service will be resumed? Anybody else having issues?

They can if you do FBM. Amazon thinks there is a Canada Post strike on right now, and for FBA, Amazon is refusing shipment to any customers that can not be handled by a third party courier.
No idea, it has been brought up a few times on these seller forums but Amazon doesn't want to do anything about it.
There are posts on the Canada Post reddit of people having chats with Amazon customer service that says there is a strike, then the customer says there is no strike, the chat then replies with "OK" and then asks if they need any more help. Not resolving the issue. Silly AI

Union members still have to vote on the Canada Post contract offer -- so no new contract until that is done. So work-to-rule/no-overtime is still in place by CUPW.
Amazon FBA is playing it safe, since AZ suspended returns handled by Canada Post, they want there to be an alternative available for any returns.
If you want to sell to remote areas, you have to do FBM at the current time.
My June experience: The mail seems to be moving fairly well despite CUPW tactics, in part because mail volumes are way down. Most of my deliveries have been faster than usual. All my June amazon shipments used Canada Post, no FBA.
