Magnet toys compliance issue

I have received compliance notice from Amazon about one of our item is comes under magnetic toy category.

I have no idea about next steps to do, they are asking to submit "Children's Toys Test Report from an ISO 17025 Accredited Lab"

Would be grateful your responses.

You'll have to submit the lab report for your toy. All childrens toys in Canada must have it done before selling.

We appreciate that you've posted and shared with the community your question magnet products compliance.

As @Seller_7LrAV0m5llaI7 mentioned in his reply to your post, there are some documentations you will need to submit for Children's Toys to be compliance and be able to sell on Amazon.

For our policy for magnets, Amazon requires that all magnet products have been tested to and comply with the regulations, standards, and requirements listed below.

  • 16 CFR Part 1262 (Safety Standard for Magnets); or
  • ASTM F963-17 Section 4.38 (Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety)

Test reports dated on or after October 21, 2022, from a third-party 17025-approved laboratory showing that the product complies with the regulations, standards, and requirements listed above

  • Test reports must contain images of the tested products to demonstrate that the product tested is the same as the product listed on the product detail page
  • General Certificate of Conformity (GCC) or Certificate of Analysis (COA) may be accepted, if applicable

We highly recommend you to check the following help pages about Children's Toys and also Magnet Products. You will find more inside about the info you will need to submit in order to be complaint:

Last but not least, if you are not the manufacturer of the products in question, you can always contact the manufacturer in order to get the proper compliance information and reports they already have.

We appreciate your participation in the forums, and we hope this info will help you clarify your concern.

Best regards,

Ka
