[NEW USER] Need help for bringing Shopify products to Amazon
This is my very first day trying to list products from my Shopify store onto Amazon, and I’m feeling overwhelmed. I have over 200 products — mostly custom perfumes, car refreshers, shea butter, soaps, and more.
I just created the Amazon seller account and connected it, but I haven’t listed anything yet because I’m confused about where to even begin.
Questions I have:
• How do I properly list Shopify products on Amazon?
• Do I need barcodes (GTIN/UPC) for every item? What if I don’t have them?
• Is there a way to bulk upload everything at once instead of one by one?
• What are the common mistakes to avoid?
If anyone has a simple step-by-step guide or tips for new sellers trying to bring products from Shopify to Amazon, I’d really appreciate it. I want to do this right from the start.

Have you watched the Amazon Seller University videos? Learn from those, rather than YouTube and TikTok gurus. I don't know if they mention Shopify specifically, but going through them is a must.
Then read here in the forums for issues that get sellers deactivated every day. I'd especially focus on items that you must have permission to sell from the brand owner. If you list items you do not have permission to sell (from the brand, NOT Amazon) you may be deactivated. And second chances are rare here.

Yes you need to find a way to import your Shopify listings to Amazon, either through inventory files or some add-ons.
Nobody will share step-by-step guide here, it's too much and overwhelming. I may offer some help but will need to look into your specific requirements, and understand where you are at.
Are you listing them only in CA?
