AMAZON ISSUED REFUND AND TOOK MY MONEY BEFORE THE BUYER SENT THE ITEM BACK
Customer requested a refund because she claimed, incorrectly, the item was different than Amazon described. I received that message from Amazon and quickly told her that I would authorized a Full Refund through Amazon once she sent the item back to me in the condition I sent it out to her (BRAND NEW). I have not heard back from her but I did hear back from Amazon after I sent that E-Mail. Amazon said they had issued a refund and took the money out of my account. I NEVER AUTHORIZED a REFUND! What do I do now to either get the item back or the money back? Can I send more E-Mails to the Buyer? Can I send the Buyer a Letter requesting the item back. Can I do Anything! Why would Amazon put me in this position???

Amazon did not place you in this position. Remember, Amazon's return policies are your return policies, so it is always in the seller's best interest to follow Amazon's Return Policies to the letter.
Amazon has the RFS program that you are a part of. All you ever need to say is to a buyer is, go to the order page for this return and select RETURN ITEM.
Telling the buyer to send the item back for a full refund or replacement is a mistake, because that is not what Amazon's return policy says exactly. Amazon buyers know how to scam sellers.
Your buyer simply called Amazon Customer Services and say, "this buyer wants me to pay for returning the item and that is not how Amazon works". The Service Rep will refund the buyer on the spot from your account with no return necessary. And yes, the buyer can lie and make up any story they want, They will use your own statement against you.
The refund has been issued and the transaction is closed. there is nothing left to do. But look at it this way, you have learned a lesson for the next return.
While Amazon puts up a nice up-front spin for new sellers, once you get into selling you will find there is a lot of dysfunction going on, and with Amazon's "The Buyer Is Always Right", philosophy, sellers always seem to some out on the losing side.

Calm down. Like @Seller_CW0P5hgbsiqWX said, this is part of Amazon's RFS system for refunds. If you pull up the return in your Manage Returns, you can find the tracking for the return in the More Info section. You can check the tracking to see where it is on its journey back to you, and when you receive it back, if it is in a different condition than you sent it, then you can file a SAFE-T claim for Amazon to reimburse you.
