Fake Promotions - Needs to be fixed ASAP!!
Hi Sellers,
Fake Promotion Seller, Why does amazon let sellers advertise promotions like Save 50% of any 2, Buy 3 Get 1 Free and then those sellers have a buying limit in place which makes it impossible for the customer to use the promotion. The sellers just do this to win the buy box.
I have made a discussion similar to this a while ago but was told to just report the sellers as abuse this do this so amazon can investigate. I did report two times and both times I got an email that we have found nothing wrong.
I understand that every amazon sellers goal is to make money and I totally respect that and that's why I never participated in any of these promotions. On listings there are mostly multiple sellers that are selling the product but then 1 Seller does this promotion and thinks he is smarter then the rest of the sellers. Then in some listings other follow but most follow amazons rules and don't advertise fake promotions.
So realistically the amazon seller who follow amazon guideline and rules are the ones that are suffering from revenue loss due to these fake promotions.
This is totally unacceptable that 1-2 Seller can just hijack a whole buy box from the sellers who are following amazon rules.
And Amazon Allows it.
These are the following ASINS you can go have a look and see what's the problem:
B0046O5YMA
B09C6MGD7J
B000IEMGGE
B0725YPBPR
And probably more on amazon as a whole.
I am not trying to hurt any amazon seller and never even wanted to make this post, but this totally selfish and unacceptable to just let fraudulent seller get away with this. Because the authentic sellers are the ones facing revenue loss.
It would be really appreciated if amazon you could fix this, so authentic sellers don't have to waste their time also making complaints about this.

lol ya sellers "SMART CHROMOSOME" and "VALENTINIES" and "moonfyy" are huge abusers of this I've noticed. The first seller doesn't allow more than 1 product added to cart, but has a perpetual 5% off any 2 items promo, it's a joke and I've lost buybox to it on a listing too.

Hello @Seller_6oZF68zZdjt6i,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I would be happy to try and assist here. I agree that it is alarming that promo's are live, but buying limits are placed in order to not meet that promo threshold and want to dive deeper into this. Based on the info you provided here I am not seeing offers from the 3 Sellers mentioned and I am not seeing the promotions described on any of the ASINs. I do understand that you are reporting tactics and not these ASINs in particular, so can you please provide the complaint ID's that you submitted? Ideally I can grab some additional information and then investigate on my end to see if I can find live "proof" and then escalate accordingly.
Best, Dougal
