Sales have gone down by 75% for the last five days straight.

I have sold on Amazon for well over 16 years. I’ve occasionally had a bad day here or there, but never five consecutive days. I’ve called Amazon several times and they see nothing wrong with my account. I sell books and average 35-45 per day. I’ve sold 10 per day, the last 5 days. Has anyone else experienced this or know why??? Please, help!

No, it's not just you. We generally notice weird sales around tax day; people getting back from eclipse travels could factor in as well (we saw almost nothing on eclipse weekend, and are still recovering ourselves).

Add in the things going on in the Middle East, and the doom-mongering about the economy coming from some, and not surprising to see a bit of a slowdown.

Not a whole lot any of us can do about it.

I understand you have concerns about sales. I am engaging a community manager to review this situation

Same here. I'm a small seller, but four days of zero sales after a better than average month is strange. I saw some other posts about Amazon experimenting with the way listings are shown so it might have something to do with that. Just a guess. Then there is the legendary "sprinkler"...

Same thing in the seed department. This is usually our busy period and it has been slow. I have looked at many industries and they are having the same problem. I have talked to other seed sellers, same problem. It is just the economy. Our country is spending billions on Ukraine. I am not sure why. Protect people who are not a part of the US while people in the US go without. All the yahoos in Washington need to be replaced, every eight years. In my opinion. But we Americans continue to vote idiots into office who do not care about US citizens.

It's been terrible lately for us as well. Last month was very bad this month even worse. Who knows what this summer will look like.

This happens every spring as long as I can recall. I don't expect much rebound until Aug when back to school starts.

Are you in the Southeast? Affected at all by USPS issues in Atlanta? We believe that's what is going on with us. We aren't selling much of anything that has to go through that new distribution hub. I believe Amazon has extended the delivery dates out so that people are choosing sellers that use a different, faster method to get their items. Just a guess as we used to sell a lot in the SE (we are in FL) and now we are selling hardly anything in the SE.

5 days? My sales have slumped for the past year. The sprinkler has seemingly turned off.

yes, I'm having trouble with both my listings and ads. I've called support a few times, but haven't been able to get the troubleshooting assistance I need.
