Christmas Shipping 2024: Chattanooga USPS Hub is Completely Overwhelmed
This is a ditto of the post of @Seller_ULw5xOlDpZZF2 here but regarding Chattanooga USPS hub. Per our local USPS supervisor shipments since Dec 9th are stuck at the hub in parking lots sitting in trailers. They all show on USPS tracking:

Many customers are reaching out to us asking if we even shipped yet. Scan sheets are great when the system works but fail big when items are delayed like this.
As an FYI Saturday 12/14 we asked the supervisor to scan in each package instead of using the end of day sheet. These shipments at least show they are picked up and have a estimated delivery date, albeit completely invalid....

So sorry to hear!
We had so many customers contact us because our packages were not even getting scanned for up to a week, that we were worried this would open the door to A to Z claims. Fortunately each package from 2-3 weeks ago has delivered or will shortly, but they were severely delayed and the damage has been done.
We turned off ALL USPS shipments a couple weeks ago and was the best decision we have ever made. UPS and FedEx deliveries are not delayed at this time.
Hope your packages arrive before Christmas. USPS has completely lost it. Look up WRTV headline "Local business wants more communication from USPS following shipping delays". It's even caught the attention of the news media.
Maybe you can try contacting the Media in your area.

I'm in Athens, TN and all my shipments go from here to Chattanooga first before disbursing elsewhere. I noticed at the beginning of December packages over 3 days were never scanned in until they were well across the country. Since then I have been taking all my packages to the counter to be scanned individually so they show they were shipped on the ship by date. It's a pain, but at least they do show they shipped on time, but once all the packages arrive in chattanooga they sit not moving for 3 to 5 days and then start showing scans again. Every USPS shipment on all my selling platforms are all delayed and running behind by about a week. The USPS is truly overwhelmed this season all across the country.
