Deactivated. Won't close. Keep charging me.
I have been an Amazon seller for over a year and recently my account got shut down because they stated "I had another store and you're only allowed one store per person".
I confirmed that I use a third-party service to help manage my store, things like inventory, returns, customer service, etc. This is well within the scope of Amazon's terms. They have an entire permissions section specifically designed to allow multiple people access.
I sent them all the evidence but they continue to reject my appeal to re-open my account. Not only that, they refuse to tell me exactly what piece of information is conflicting. They know exactly why they are flagging my account but won't tell me. They also asked me to prove I don't own a second store. I don't have a second store, so how am I meant to prove I don't own one? That's like asking me to prove I don't own a second car. It's impossible.
I'm now $55-60k in the hole because I can't sell inventory.
To add insult to injury they also keep charging me stock storage fees. I can't sell stock!!! So every month more money is taken from me. No one gets back to me. I do not know what to do.
I canceled my card with AMEX and told AMEX to block all transaction attempts from Amazon. So every week or so I get an email from Seller Central saying I have to update my card details.
I am NEVER going to do that. You are STEALING money. Close my account immediately and burn everything related to it.

You will not be able to close your account / nor will Amazon close it -- that needs to be done by seller.
An account that is not in good health may not be closed.
Can you downgrade to individual? Can you recall inventory? Do so if you can.

Hello @Seller_tyxzBM29r6QLK,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums. Also, thank you to @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl and @Seller_kNAboD6kRgVt7 for providing helpful guidance here in this thread.
I see that your account was deactivated for the multiple account policy and you have questions about how to downgrade the account to stop the monthly fees.
Since your account is deactivated, you will not have the option to close the account unless the original issue has been resolved. As the community has mentioned, you do have the option to downgrade the account to individual if you wish to avoid the monthly fee.
One of the requirements for your selling account is to keep credit card and bank account information current for payments and settlements. If you have removed your credit card information, you will lose access to features of your account until the payment method has been updated. Once the payment method has been added, you will have the option to downgrade the account.

Can you share what you have submitted to prove that the account relation was due to the third-party? Typically, you will be asked to submit the following:
-service agreement with the third-party that include the start date and service provided
-invoice of bill of lading from the third-party company
-proof of payment made to the third-party company (bank/credit card statement)
-If you are no longer working with the company you should provide a termination agreement (with the date of termination)
I look forward to learning more. Once you have reviewed the information and questions above, please feel free to respond here for further guidance. The Forums community and I are here to support you.
Wishing you the best,
LeviDylan
