How to add missing product detail information
I sell used books and CD's. Sometimes the product listing I want to list my item under is missing important information, such as artist, author, etc, or has incorrect spelling in title, or other errors. This can negatively affect searches by potential buyers. Some years ago, there used to be an easy way to fix these problems in inventory management. Now, all I can see is "Report an issue with this product" in the main catalog, which is accessible to millions of people, most of whom are not Amazon sellers. I doubt if anyone at Amazon devotes much time to looking at these comments. Is there another way to fix incorrect product details that is dedicated to sellers only?

However, as a seller, you have additional options to suggest updates:
- Catalog Team: For significant issues or multiple products needing correction, you can contact our Catalog team directly. Please create a case for catalog team with detailed information about the corrections needed.
- Add Product Tool: For books and media items, you can use the Add Product tool to create a new listing with correct information if the existing one is significantly inaccurate.
- Contribute Product Info: On some detail pages, you may see a "Contribute Product Info" link. This allows sellers to submit updates for review.
- Brand Registry: If you're the brand owner or authorized agent, enrolling in a Brand Registry gives you more control over product listings.
