I did FBM,but I can't fulfill the order, the virtual number provided by Amazon is not working when delivering the product to the customer, what should I do?
I sell oversized items that require truck delivery in order to get them to the customer, but we often have problems with the virtual number provided by Amazon not working when delivering them, resulting in the service provider not being able to book the customer for delivery. As a result, our goods stayed at the service provider's site for a long time, the customer would return or claim if they didn't receive it, and the service provider failed to deliver and returned the goods to the warehouse, which had too big an impact on our transportation costs.
We try to send emails or call customers directly when the order is generated, but sometimes the virtual numbers are not reachable, and some of the customers will not check the emails. We asked someone from Amazon to open a CASE and tried to get them to contact us, but they said they couldn't handle it for us and told us to use the virtual number, but we couldn't reach them again.
What should I do to fix this problem I have? Very agonizing.

Stop selling products that are hard to deliver properly due to AMAZON.
Seriously.
Some items are NOT designed or intended to be sold on this site.
They are causing you problems that can get you permanently suspended anyway.
Sell elsewhere -- like your own website where you can hold BUYERS responsible for accurate and correct information.

Freight-shipping templates for less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments
With this program you receive buyer's real phone number, not the Amazon made-up number.

@Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl provided you with a great link about freight-shipping templates for items such as furniture that require less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments (usually >150lbs).
Please check that page out and come back if you have questions, or if it's perfect for you and you'd like to share that feedback with other sellers.

Contacting Amazon Buyers outside of the Amazon messaging system is grounds for Permanent Account Suspension.
Additionally, the telephone number associated with the order is NOT accurate.
IF you insist on selling products on Amazon that require Truck / Pallet shipping, I would contact the Buyer through Amazon as soon as you receive the order and get FULL contact information for them which you can provide to the Carrier without contacting the Buyer directly outside of Amazon.
But, honestly, @Seller_kIukTwdhvntApis giving you the BEST advice. Amazon is NOT the place for this type of business, as the liability is ALL with YOU, the Seller on making SURE the pallet is Delivered.
Good Luck!

Yeah, this is one of many Amazon ideas that made a hell for sellers.
There are many items that can be shipped only via Express companies and they surely care to contact buyer. And due that imaginary phone number with extension, most of the times it's impossible to contact anyone. And that causes tons of problems.
Usually it's good idea to contact buyers to get real phone number but hey, there's a problem again - many buyers are so arrogant that they don't even care about reading or responding to emails from Amazon. Again, it's Amazon who made that over the years buyers got so pampered buyers that they feel blameless for anything.

We have the same issue. We sell building supplies and quite often a customers combined order (multiple skus in varying quantities) go over the 150 pound mark and go freight.
I say once or twice a week we have a LTL carrier that can't contact a customer. We send the email, get no response, and return to sender. The amount of customers that never even message us back or ask where their stuff is boggles the mind.
Its annoying but nothing else can be done. Luckily our volume is high enough that its not a huge dent in the bank.
