a-z claim withdrawn and still counted against ODR

I logged in and saw that an a-z claim was withdrawn by the customer who agreed to withdraw it (they opened it before the return was delivered back). It showed does not count against ODR. A full refund was than issued by me. Following the refund I received an email that the case was now closed because I issued a refund and the ODR will count against me. How is this possible if the case was already withdrawn by the buyer. Did I issue a refund too quickly and the system glitched and counted it against me? I sell very little on the Canada site and this is a huge hit to my metrics when it should not have counted at all. Any help from a moderator would be appreciated.

I am dealing with this very same issue. Customer opens az claim and they didn't even return the package to the carrier. They still counted it against my ODR. This is very frustrating! Please train your employees properly AMAZON!

I had a claim reversed, they reimbursed me and claimed the ODR will correct within 48 hours, it's 4 days later still nothing, customer service is useless, gotta keep emailing them requesting to forward to the A-to-z team to correct.

Tired of the copy paste answers.

Some answers include "The status of the claim affects your ODR and we will debit your account" while it's been reversed and reimbursed already. Talking to a wall.

Hi, just wanted to say same thing happened to us, had to get manual intervention but it took about a month to dissapear, and 2 manual human removals. (First time, it came back and had to re-contact Amazon).

Best of luck, just try to get in touch with a helpful individual.
