Amazon wants an invoice of ASIN which i bought 2 years ago and sold out a year ago.
Hello fellas,
Does anyone experience this? How can I give invoice within 365 days which actually I bought 2 years ago?
Amazon deactivated my account and want invoice for authentication of a product, which should be within 365 days. I bought the Product firstly 2 years ago and sold out all with is 1.5 years ago. Just 1 return item which sold out 6 months ago. This ASIN have no negative comment or bad reviews. On call I explain all the matter to the corresponding person about invoice that it is 2 year old. I Submit all the things like she said But its rejected twice. I submit Appeal saying that this deactivation comes in error. Still they rejected.
I am frustrated now. What should I do now?

What was the product you were selling? Was it a branded item? Where did you source it from?

" Still they rejected."
In line with what @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9has asked, let's start with the NEW basic requirements for selling on the new, improved, Amazon --
DO YOU have an LOA from the brand allowing you to sell on here?
DID YOU source from AUTHORIZED wholesale sources that your rep at the brand says are OK?
If the answer to those simple questions is YES, you can probably survive this (eventually).
If the answer is NO, hopefully you have added other sales channels to your network ALREADY because you are likely done on Amazon.

I don't have any advice to help with this now, but this is a good example of why it's best to delete old listings that you aren't selling anymore. No guarantee that you still won't get dinged later, but at least helps cut down on the chances.
Good luck with this. Logic would dictate that your invoices cover the period where items were sold, but sadly, with Amazon, logic often doesn't factor in.

Greetings @Seller_cmAMtE3T25U19,
Thank you for messaging us here on the Forums! I can understand how frustrating this situation must be for you. Having your Amazon account deactivated and then being asked to provide an invoice that falls outside of their 365-day policy is a real challenge.
Let me explain the typical reasoning behind this policy and provide some suggestions on how you may be able to resolve this.
Amazon generally requires sellers to provide an invoice or other valid proof of purchase dated within the previous 365 days (1 year) to help ensure the products being sold are genuine and the seller is an authorized distributor. Older invoices can be more difficult to verify, so Amazon places this time limit.
In your case, it sounds like you originally purchased the product 2 years ago, sold it over time, and now have a single return item from 6 months ago that you need to provide an invoice for. Since this invoice is outside the 365-day window, Amazon is unable to verify the purchase through the normal process.
To get this issue resolved, you may want to provide Amazon with some additional supporting documentation and clear explanations, such as the following suggestions:
- A detailed sales history showing the full timeline of when you purchased and sold this product
- Proof that you were an authorized distributor of this product, even if the specific invoice is older
- An explanation for why the older invoice is still valid and representative of the current return item
Note: I cannot guarantee if the suggested documents will be accepted.
I know this can be frustrating, but Amazon's policies are in place to protect the integrity of the marketplace. By providing the additional information discussed here, you may be able to get an exception approved for this unique situation.
