Pending Order -Awaiting Payment verification

I have an order that has been for 7 days in pending order status, and the reason shown is "Awaiting Payment verifictaion".

I already sent the customer an email asking for her/his kind payment but no reply so far, so my question is:

how long should i wait to cancel this order? Is it ok to cancel the order? or how should i proceed?

Don't ship an order while in Pending status, even if the buyer contacts you directly. If a buyer contacts you while an order is in Pending status, refer them to Amazon Customer Service for more information. Oh my goodness!

Do not do that.

Sellers have no business asking / talking to buyers about payment method. That is Amazon's province.

In theory a pending order can linger for 21 days. That is rare. Seller just waits. That's all.

1. It is NOT allowed to contact Amazon's customers! Don't do this again.

2. Do not cancel the order, this will negatively impact your cancellation rate. If you cancel too many orders Amazon will suspend your account.

3. Just wait. If you see the order "Payment complete" you send it. Anyway Amazon will send you an email "ship your order".
