Reviews problem

hello , I received some textes from someone it seems like it’s my competitor which knows my listing . He told me that he placed around 20 or 30 orders and he will be putting down my listing with one star review I deleted my listing right away 😭 I can’t even sleep from being stressed is there a way to fix that or even disable the reviews temporarily?

Hello @Seller_lowsPwxHLkBMl,

I'm sorry to hear that you are dealing with what seems like a malicious attempt to undermine your business. This type of coordinated review bombing can be very stressful, but there are steps you can take to address it:

  1. Contact Amazon seller support immediately and report the issue. Provide them with any evidence you have, such as the messages from your competitor. Amazon takes review manipulation very seriously and may be able to help remove the fraudulent reviews.
  2. Do not delete your listing. This can actually work against you, as it removes any legitimate reviews you have built up. Instead, leave the listing active and work on getting authentic reviews to push down the malicious ones.
  3. Respond professionally to any negative reviews, explaining the situation without escalating the conflict. Highlight your commitment to customer service.
  4. Consider temporarily disabling the ability to leave new reviews on the product page. This is an option Amazon provides, though it should only be used temporarily as it can also impact legitimate customer feedback.
  5. Focus on continuing to provide excellent products and service. Over time, genuine reviews will outweigh any attempts at manipulation.

The most important thing is to remain calm and work through the proper channels. Amazon wants to protect the integrity of their marketplace, so they will usually take action against coordinated review attacks. With persistence and professionalism, you can overcome this challenge.

I hope this helps provide a framework for how to address this issue. Let me know if you have any other questions!
