Received products that are not mine from removal order

I created a removal order for one of my products. I received all units of my product but also received around 300 units of another random product that I have never sold or seen before. After creating a case with seller support, they asked me to send pictures of the product and paperwork. After calling them twice (both times they said they had everything they need, just wait for our team to get back to you with next steps), they have sent me the same boilerplate response a few days later: "we need more information to resolve your case", along with a list of information I've already sent. At this point, I'm tempted to contact the seller of this item myself and let them know I was mistakenly sent their items and if they want them, send me a prepaid shipping label and I'll drop them off at the post office. Has anyone been in this situation?

I received another seller's items once on a removal order, but that was because Amazon shipped the wrong item to the customer. When customer returned, Amazon still tagged it as my inventory item that I sold and when I pulled a removal order for that SKU they sent me the customer returned item (which wasn't mine).

As usual sellers have to work around Amazon's "help" to fix their mistakes. If it was my product I would appreciate getting it back as Amazon likely sent the other seller a note that they never recieved their product.

Amazon is the biggest cheater now! other seller fowlling sell my creating product link, and send stock to Amazon FBA, I never authorized my US trademark to other seller, so I test buy its stock, then FBA ship the parcel, but received is RUBBISH!!!! not web link product! I report to Amazon more than 10times till now, no anyone solve the problem,most help only say, sorry, I don't have the authority to solve this problem, then closed the case! today amazon reply: Although possible abuse indicators may be present, the activity is not a result of Competitor Inventory Hold Abuse and is not eligible for enforcement by our team at this time.

I received a wrong returns last year, we do not carry that product, & it was completely dilapidated. I discarded it & forgot about it.

Just came here to ask about this. We received an item back from FBA due to being returned by a customer as 'defective'. It's not even our item, or anything we sell. FBA will allow ANYTHING to be returned for an order it seems. Surely there's gotta be some way to get reimbursed for this, as this is clearly an Amazon mistake, accepting this return.

It has also happened to me before in the past. You get a scripted response from amazon that effectively says nothing except that they accept no responsibility for such an occurrence. Then you never hear anything futher.
