Do you have authorization or a LOA from either of these brands? If not, then you will not be permitted to sell them on Amazon.

Nothing needs to be escalated. You are not allowed to sell NIKE and Adidas on Amazon if you do NOT have a written "Letter of Authorization" from the brands.
Use the search bar on top, write NKE and see that you are in good and numerous compagnie.

Amazon requires that the seller have the right to sell.
When you apply to be ungated Amazon assumes you already have your ducks in a row -- proper sourcing / letter of authorization.
Being ungated / being allowed to sell has nothing to do with right to sell.
Only the brand owner can grant you the right to sell, and you need that authorization in writing.
You will not get such authorization from Nike -- they are one of the brands most diligent about removing Amazon sellers.

Either Nike, neither Adidas approved you to sell anything.

Count yourself lucky. For a very long time, Amazon has allowed sellers to list on Nike and Adidas, even though neither of those brands authorizes any sellers. Only in the last week or so have they actually started blocking sellers.
So while you can't list your unauthorized shoes, you still have an account. Had you been successful in listing them, you would be getting an IP complaint you could not defend, and lose your Amazon account forever.
For future reference, "ungating" on Amazon is not enough if you are not also authorized BY THE BRAND to sell their products on Amazon.

Rest assured, you are not going to sell them here.

ALL of the other responses are correct. You are lucky to still have an account.
You have OBVIOUSLY not bothered to study the Forum to find the dozens of posts about suspensions for trying to sell these brands.
As noted by others, you are confusing AMAZON allowing you to list (or at least "ungate") an item or category and actually being APPROVED to sell a product. AMAZON is only interested in FEES. They will allow a chimpanzee to list if it means they collect $$$$$.
You really need to go study Seller U instead of TikTok and YouTube before your account gets kicked to the curb permanently.

Since you don't appear to have done that PLEASE pay attention to the following:
Here are the NEW rules for selling on the ‘new and improved’ Amazon.
The first question is -- Are you authorized IN WRITING by the BRAND to sell their items on Amazon? That means from the BRAND, not some random wholesale source that can NOT authorize anything – they only SELL.
More and more brands have provided a "whitelist" of their approved sellers and if YOU are NOT on the list you will be stopped in your tracks and probably hit with an IP violation.
The second (and probably more important) question is -- Where are you sourcing your products? Are you buying direct from the brand or through an AUTHORIZED wholesale source?
Have you verified with the BRAND that your distributor IS an authorized wholesale distributor for ALL of their products. Some wholesalers are only allowed to distribute portions of a product line.
NOTE – FOR 'GATED' CATEGORIES' DOING RA IS NOT PERMITTED ON AMAZON. PERIOD. If you have to 'apply to sell' you WILL need an INVOICE from an AUTHORIZED distributor and not a receipt.

Good Morning @Seller_YHAW3Lkga0GKU, it looks like you were able to get some guidance from some of our seasoned sellers regarding your brand application for Nike and Adidas.
If any of their replies helped you, feel free to mark it as “Most Helpful reply” using the 3 dots in the corner of their post. This helps other sellers find the answer to your question at the top of the post just in case they find themselves in a similar situation.
I also wanted to add that there are categories, brands and specific products that require approval so our customers can shop with confidence here on Amazon. Unfortunately, we are unable to disclose any additional information at this time regarding the approvals processes, however, I can share a couple resources for when you do apply to sell new products, brands or in categories here at Amazon:
- Please ensure you are thoroughly reviewing review the products that require approval Seller Central help page.
- I also wanted to share our Seller University resource that addresses Guidelines to source products to sell on Amazon and Invoice requirements for when you apply to sell.
- Lastly, here are the help pages for Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements and obtaining a Letter of Authorization just in case you would like to add that to your application in the future.
Please let us know if you have any questions about the information I have provided above or the outcome of this case.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
