FBA Shipment Sent Across Canada Again Why?

I'm not understanding why our FBA shipment is sent from ON-BC when there are numerous centres in-between. Amazon this is not even peek season and were having these issues. We already now what's going to happened, all our units sent from ON to BC will be FC transferred back to ON so now I can expect all my units in by the end of September. There has to be a fix to this, I just don't understand why your system keeps doing this, so frustrating geez! I mean this is going on for years now with no concrete solution. I know some will say things sell better in different parts of the Country then others that's why they do that, but I'm talking about the FC transferring back from it's original location, which in my experience anything going to BC from ON is coming back. Amazon there has to be a better way.

Your items are shipped to wherever the majority of the shipment is in the most demand, it sounds like your items need to go to BC first so they can keep the majority of them there, and send back the excess.

that is exactly what I asked a few weeks ago. Most of my items got sent to BC and sent back to ON, FBA lead time from 2-3 days to 2 weeks; that's ridiculous

I have the opposite experience. Located in BC and have a FBA center just 5min drive away, but all my shipments are sent to ON.

For my product, they made me ship it to BC once, and once to Alberta (im in Ontario)

and then immediately upon arrival, within a day or 2, they did a 'FC Transfer' back to ontario, of all my units (its not like they took half and sent half)

Absolutely ridiculous, waste of time (adds a solid 2 weeks from when my inventory becomes available), and waste of money (as it costs me more to ship to those provinces of course). Not to mention a waste of amazon's time and resources too...

Happens all the time. I stopped questioning why, it just is. So, I try to reset the shipment multiple times, until it gives me an acceptable destination or I give up and send it to BC from ON and live with the consequences.

That's just a fact of life we have to deal with :)

hi, here we are in QC. When we ship for exemple 20 of same product amazon require to ship to AB. BUT if i change the quantity and but 80-100 units amazon require to ship to ON. If we request that Amazon need to label ,almost all the time we need to ship to AB

Same thing happened to me last month ... all 24 identical items sent from QC to BC were then all trasferred back to ON. Wasted 2 weeks of peak selling time for this specific item.

I've been going through that problem for the past several months and like all of you, my items get sent to BC then they all (90%+) get transferred back East. Complete waste of time and money for us and Amazon.

There have been numerous posts about this issue the past year and I've yet to see one Amazon Moderator comment on the situation and if or how it's being addressed because with Q4 coming up, this will be a complete nightmare.
