Expiration Date Confusion
Hello fellow sellers,
We're attempting FBA shipment creation in CA and we continue to encounter an error related to expiration dates.
It doesn't require an expiration date on any specific products when creating the shipment; however, further into the shipment creation it reads: "The expiration date requirements for one or more of your SKUs have changed. Please go back to step 1 and enter the expiration date for"
Again, we don't know how to fix this because it won't tell us what SKUs need fixing. It seems like it's an issue with the system and not particular SKUs.
Please advise!

Greetings @Seller_lRz8KC6LXz9y8,
Based on your description, my guess would be that some of your products may in fact require expiration dates, though it's hard to say for sure without knowing the product details. The products that require expiration date labeling is more exhaustive than one might think:
"Amazon considers any product with a shelf life, or that loses effectiveness with time, to be subject to expiration, even if an expiration date is not indicated on the product packaging.
Products subject to expiration include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Any product that has an expiration date printed on the product or its packaging
- Consumable products such as potato chips, tea leaves, and nutritional supplements, whether for human or animal consumption
- Topical products that are intended for human or animal use, such as skin creams, soaps, shampoos, hair sprays, and cosmetics
- Cleaning products such as disinfectant wipes, cleaning sprays and solutions, and detergents
- Products that include components that can expire, such as a coffee machine that is sold bundled with coffee
- Any product with a period-after-opening (PAO) symbol (image below)"
If none of those scenarios apply to you, there may be something else happening here that would require further troubleshooting. Let me know!
