Amazon's Subscription Box program abruptly ending, do sellers have recourse?
As an Amazon subscription box seller since it's inception, we've invested in the Amazon platform for years and its slowly become a significant part of our business and revenue. For years we invested ad revenue and working with Amazon reps to promote products with discounts, etc. On October 10th we suddenly received notification that Amazon is ending its subscription box business and as of October 11th new customers won't be able to sign up. All services will end by December 31st.
This seems extremely abrupt, it affects us greatly and I can't imagine how other subscription box sellers (who may have a large portion of their revenue come from Amazon) be affected. It doesn't sit right with me how they rolled this out. Should we as sellers band together and put out a petition to Amazon to keep the subscription box part of their business going?

I would be on board! There are a TON of subscription boxes out there and I can't believe there aren't more people that are making noise over this!
