Keep Getting Error 8016 when Adding Variants
We created a parent listing and was ready to attach 31 listings under the parent listing through uploading a spreadsheet. However, we kept getting the Error 8016 for some child listings even though I had made sure that the parent and child share the same variation theme.
Part of the listings successfully became a child one, but most of the item did not, while all of them are in the same spreadsheet and I have checked many many times that the attributes are well filled.
Could anyone provide some insights? Thank you.

Looking at your screenshots, it looks like you have Scarlet Macaw 01S entered as the Style for the parent listing and the next child listing. The parent listing is just there to create the relationship between the child listings, so it shouldn't have anything entered for Style. Also, since you are using Style as the Variation Theme, having any duplicates in that column will cause issues.

Hello @Seller_IGvQTW0e9tH8T- thanks for sharing this situation here on forums! Danny from Amazon here to help if I can, though it does look like @Seller_f4a7xAPCCSMqDhas got you pointed in the right direction! I'll add a link to our help page specific to this error code, which includes some steps for addressing it through updates to the file upload.
If the post from the other seller did help resolve this issue for you though, don't hesitate to mark it as 'most helpful' so other sellers know how to approach similar questions moving forward!
