Urgent Request for Clarity Regarding Canada Identity Verification: self attestation
Hi,
We are a fully incorporated business and have done everything within our power to comply with Amazon’s identity verification and documentation requirements. Over the past few weeks, we have submitted all requested materials and carefully reviewed the official guidance documents. At this stage, we are completely unclear on what, if anything, is still required from us.
The only clear communication we received was on June 5, asking us to respond via email. We replied promptly and received an automated confirmation on June 12, indicating that additional documents were required. However, as of June 13, our portal access to upload any further documents has been removed, and no further instructions have been provided.
Despite our repeated efforts to seek clarification, Amazon Seller Support has not been able to provide concrete answers, repeatedly stating they do not have visibility into the identity verification process. Without clear guidance from someone who understands the requirements, we are unable to move forward.
We have acted in good faith, submitted everything to the best of our understanding, and still do not know what might be missing or what Amazon expects from us. We have also reached out directly to seller-review-en email, but have not received any response.
We are urgently seeking assistance from someone who can provide clarity, or a direct contact within the Canada Identity Verification team who can review our case. Every day that passes without resolution results in significant financial loss. The submission portal is now closed, and we are simply being told to wait, with no indication of what we are waiting for or whether any action is expected from our side.
Please advise us on how to proceed.

Hey Nick,I'm sorry to hear you're facing this issue. I’ve been selling on Amazon for the past five years, and situations like this do come up from time to time.
One important thing I’ve learned is not to respond hastily. Always read Amazon’s message carefully, word by word, and prepare your response thoughtfully. Make sure to compile all required documents in a clear and organized manner—think of it as “spoon-feeding” the information. Provide everything they ask for, explain your case clearly and concisely, and stay focused on the key points.
That’s the approach I usually follow, and it has worked well for me. Of course, I can’t comment specifically on your case without seeing Amazon’s feedback and your response. But I hope you're able to resolve it soon.
Best of luck—and happy selling!
