Product With no requirement Approval: Need Advice
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out for some guidance regarding listing a product on Amazon. I’ve come across a brand product that, according to Seller Central, does not require approval for listing. I’m considering listing this product directly, but I’m unsure about the implications.
Here’s what I need help with:
Listing Requirements: Since the product doesn’t require approval, are there any additional conditions or requirements I should be aware of before listing it?
-Account Concerns: If I proceed with listing this product directly, could this potentially cause any issues with my seller account in the future?
I’d appreciate any insights or experiences you’ve had with similar situations. Your advice would be incredibly helpful!
Thanks in advance for your support.
Best regards,
Mohammad Rahimi

You're confusing Amazon allowing you to list with the brand owner allowing you to sell.

The answer is yes, it's very likely there will be issues unless you have permission from the brand itself (including an LOA) to specifically sell their items on Amazon and have sourced them correctly.

Hi @ASJDW53HVQ8J8,
Thanks for the post.
Please note that if Amazon believes that a trademark is associated with a product that you are selling that is not approved by the brand for use in connection with that product, you may be asked to provide a Letter of Authorization from the relevant brand owner to show that you have permission to use their registered trademark.
Please note that we may validate your Letter of Authorization by contacting the relevant brand owner you identify in your application.
A. Format Checks
• PDF Documents.
• Scanned images of PDF.
• Word (Self declarations are only acceptable if you are the Brand owner).
• Screenshots of email from the domain of Company holding rights to the Protected Brand
B. Component Checks
• Acceptable documentation (physical/digital) should have all of the below components:
• Letter Head from the Company holding rights to the Protected Brand.
• Body of the LOA having all of the essential terms as outlined above.
Signatories:
• Authorized signatory from the Licensor Company.
• Signature/Digital Signature or Stamping or Seal for franking of the document.
Best regards and have a good weekend.
