Trademark Violation from Nike while not selling Nike's product

My ASIN was delisted due to have the word "Nike" in my description, however, the product is unrelated to the sporting goods brand NIKE, instead it is a historical replica that shares the same name.

Already contacted support but they insist that my product is "compatible" with NIKE the sporting good brand and want me to remove the word "Nike" from the description.

Just how dumb is this? Can people not sell apple flavored stuff on Amazon just because Apple computer exists?

That is correct. Whenever I have to identify something is apple flavored I, instead, say its "delicious apple" flavored.

They can. Because apple flavored stuff isn't "computer and cell phone technology" and therefore not protected. But they can't make a new phone holder and call it "Apple". Brands are protected for certain product types. Nike is protected for all things sports/clothing related.

Since you mentioned that you already contacted support on this, could you provide your case ID associated with this? I can use this to look further into the situation and if needed ensure it's being reviewed by the appropriate teams or provide guidance on next steps if the listing needs to be updated.

The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.

I think I got flagged for the Ever After High character Apple White because of the computer brand Apple and other similar things with other brands.

Apple sued an online grocer aa.pl and attempted to get its trademark canceled with the Polish trademark office over the site a.pl .

The support can't answer my question, best they can do is to redirect me to another support that can deny my request.

As I can see on the case this was associated to a suspected trademark misuse due to the use of NIKE in the listing. At this time the only path to reactivation that we can provide is to update the listing and remove this attribute.

I do see that you have already done this on the mentioned ASIN in the case, so I wanted to confirm if there were any other ASIN involved in the situation that I can look further into.

The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.

Amazon is now primarily run by bots and AI. I've been hit with violations because of titles of books with certain words in them that have nothing to do with any certain company names. Unfortunately, there is nothing sellers or forum mods can do about it. Even if a forum mod escalated your case and you were able to get away with it for now, you will get hit with the same violation a few days later. Best thing you can do is sell that product on another venue.
