Amazon Destroyed 6 Sellable Units - Refuses Reimbursement (ASIN: B0CQRT16VV)
Attention Amazon Seller Community & @AmazonFBA Team,
I need your help exposing a serious fulfillment center error and Amazon’s refusal to reimburse despite clear evidence. Here’s what happened:
1. The Facts
May 23-24: Amazon’s system incorrectly marked 6 units of ASIN B0CQRT16VV as "DEFECTIVE → SELLABLE → DEFECTIVE" within 24 hours (see attached Inventory Health logs).
May 28: These sellable units were automatically destroyed under Removal Order #8MmmI6nNNg.
Key Proof: We successfully canceled 1 unit from the same removal order – it’s now "Available" in FBA inventory (see attached Available proof).
2. Amazon’s Contradictory Responses
First Claim: "Inventory was unsellable" → Yet provided zero damage reports/photos.
Second Claim: "Auto-removal setting caused disposal" → But the root cause was their false classification.
Final Denial: Case ID [17832129891] repeated denials blatantly ignore the key facts.
3. Policy Violations
This violates Amazon’s own FBA Reimbursement Policy (Section 3.2):
"Amazon will reimburse for inventory lost due to Amazon’s errors, including incorrect processing."
4. Call to Action
@AmazonFBA Team: Escalate this to leadership. These units were provably sellable.
Fellow Sellers: Have you experienced similar wrongful disposals? Comment with your ASIN/Case IDs.
Attached Evidence:
1. Inventory status change logs (May 23-24)
2. Removal order details showing the canceled unit
3. Denial email snippets
Case IDs for Reference:
[17829137361] (Initial claim)
[17844530511, 17832129891] (Appeal)
Let’s hold Amazon accountable for their fulfillment errors!
