2 items with shipping of 1 split in 2

The customer bought 2 different cds but paid only shipping for 1. The shipping is split at 1.95CA$ per item instead of 3.95CA$ each. Why? Merci

Hi @Seller_HWS2dFASjrdbr,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your concern about the shipping charges for the two items you sold. We understand how confusing shipping rates can be, especially when dealing with multiple items in an order.

It appears that the customer's order qualified for a combined shipping rate, which is a feature offered by our platform to make shipping more cost-effective for buyers when they purchase multiple items from the same seller.

When a customer purchases multiple items from the same seller in a single order, the shipping cost is calculated in a way that combines the weight and dimensions of all the items. This often results in a lower total shipping cost compared to the sum of individual shipping costs for each item.

The combined shipping rate is automatically applied by our system to provide a better shopping experience for customers and to encourage them to purchase multiple items from the same seller, which can potentially increase your sales.

You can find more information about combined shipping rates and how they are calculated on our Help Pages:

Configure shipping rates and restrictions

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to here through this thread.
