Getting Ungated for Disney and Star Wars
Hello,
I am trying to get myself ungated for Disney and Star Wars, but I have not been successful. It is getting very annoying not to know what I am missing. I have purchased a Yoda Keychain from Lego Website. I was able to get ungated for LEGO right away, but the same invoice is not working for Disney and Star Wars. Can someone please help as this is getting me very frustrated.

Because you don't have permission from Disney and /or Star Wars to sell on Amazon. Most brands these days require authorization from them to sell on marketplaces (which isn't an easy task, and most likely will not come to fruition).

Being allowed by Amazon to list something is meaningless.
If you do not use proper sourcing and do not have written permission from the brand (which you are not going to get with Disney or Star Wars, or probably even LEGO) -- then you are very much at risk.

You got lucky that the bot accepted your retail receipt as an invoice and allowed you to sell Lego; sometimes it happens but that receipt says Lego explicitly and it probably the reason it went through. To have the same thing work again you would need to buy something from a Disney Store or Star Wars store, both of which do not exist (there are a few Disney stores left).
BTW- for proper sourcing you should haven opened a wholesale account with an authorized Lego distributor; the distributor would provider you with a valid invoice that Amazon should accept (never know with them though).

I am frankly surprised that an online purchase, which is Retail, allowed you to become ungated on LEGO, especially considering that LEGO is such a regulated product on Amazon.
As for Star Wars, begin with a "Star Wars" brand product on Amazon that requires Brand Approval to sell. For YOU to receive this approval, you will need to provide a Wholesale Invoice from a Recognized Distributor of such products, or from the manufacturer themselves.
This means you will need to establish a Wholesale Account with one or more of these entities.
You may discover order minimums to maintain your Wholesale account. The last time I checked with HASBRO (manufacturer of Star Wars figures and playsets), they had a $50,000 per month Minimum to become a Wholesale account. That was years ago, so it may be higher now.
Once you are approved as a Wholesale Buyer you can place orders for Star Wars products (in at least the minimum quantities required by Brand Approval).
When you receive your shipment and verified contents, go to "Add Products" on Amazon and enter the item UPC code to find the listing. Follow the steps to upload the Wholesale Invoice showing the purchase of at least the minimum quantity of the gated product.
Then wait to be approved. Once approved, it should be forever.

When I started selling on Amazon I had a HUGE amount of Star Wars products to offer, and all it took was one of my many Wholesale Invoices showing the purchase of at least 10 units, and I was granted "Brand Approval" to sell "STAR WARS" Branded products on Amazon.
This "Brand Approval" remains listed in my "View Selling Applications" section of me Seller account, along with all the other "Brands" I have applied for.
For Amazon purposes, the "BRAND" of the particular ASIN is an Amazon creation, assigned by whichever Amazon employee happens to be creating the ASIN. The assignment of the "BRAND" follows NO set rules or guidelines, and is often inconsistent on Amazon.
It also has NOTHING to do with the ACTUAL "Brand" owners at all. Even if you could get a LOA from the Disney Corp, it STILL won't grant you "Brand Approval" for the Amazon "BRAND" STAR WARS".
For Amazon purposes, there IS no "BRAND" "STAR WARS" that actually exists, and so it is physically impossible to acquire an LOA from the "BRAND".
So your advise in not correct.
Amazon uses the "BRAND" of an ASIN as a way of internally controlling who gets to sell the product, and it often ignores the actual reality of how Licensing works.
The way that Licensing works is like this:
1) Company "A" has what they consider to be a great idea for a product that does not exist and integrates a "Licensed" character in the product.
2) Company "A" researches who owns the license for that particular character and approaches the license holder for terms. If approved, Company "A" purchases the rights to use the Licensed Character on their proposed product.
3) Company "A" then approaches a Manufacturer who will produce and package the physical product and secures terms for their manufacturing of the product.
4) Company "A" solicits their proposed product with Wholesale Distributors and collect Purchase Orders.
OR
4) Company "A" decides that THEY will be the sole Distributor of their product (negating the pre-solicitation of the product).
5) Company "A" places an order for the manufacture of the product based on either the Purchase Orders received or their own best estimates of how well it will sell.
6) When received from the Manufacturer, the product is either shipped to the Distributors for sale to Their Wholesale Accounts OR is stored by Company "A" for resale.
7) Product is Sold "Retail" to the general public.
The "RIGHTS" to Sell this Licensed product accompany the product itself and are transferred to each Seller until the product is sold Retail. These "Rights" never expire as long as the Seller has inventory in-stock.
So, your claim that
