I've been trying to close my account permanently for almost a month
Hello, I've been trying to close my account permanently for almost a month, Amazon won't let me. I'm tired of calling and they tell me they're going to schedule a call that never comes. They have my funds on hold and I can't close everything. Does anyone know what can I do?

Is your account suspended or deactivated? If so, you cannot close it without addressing the violation. Also, your funds may never be released depending on the violation (if there is any).

As stated above, you cannot close an account unless it is in good standing.
If the "funds on hold" problem is nothing more than your rolling reserve, you will just have to wait.
You will have to wait anyway to close the account. Assuming account in good health -- to close your account you first delete all listings, both active and inactive. Wait three months, then close it.
If the "funds on hold" is some sort of problem other than rolling reserve, this must be settled before you can close the account.

Hi @Seller_BymFibmTCrKwV
Thank you for your post. I understand you are trying to close out your account.
Can you share why your funds have been witheld? Is there an account deactivation that is causing this or something else? Have you made any recent changes to the account such as banking information or change of address? If the account has been deactivated by Amazon, this would be the most likely reason for the funds hold. If the account is still active, I would refer to the guidance provided by @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl in their post.
As @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9 states, if the account has been deactivated, you would need to first reinstate the account from the violation. If this is the scenario you are facing, feel free to share the reason for the deactivation here in the thread so we may better assist you.
If the account is still active and in good health, you may then close out the account so long as all requirements found in the Closing your Seller Account policy have been met. You will need to ensure each of the steps within that policy have been followed prior to the account being fully shut down.
Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or account updates, and we will assist you as best we can.
Regards,
Troy

I have been dealing with this same issue for 7 months. They hold my money and will not let me close it and have not used it in almost a year
