account deactivated section 3 but invoices from big distributors
My seller account got deactivated on 11/3/2023.
It's hard to believe that all the work goes to waste and my business, which I started from my last reserves, is becoming impossible. This put my livelihood and the livelihood of our family at risk.
This whole thing shocks me and I don't even know what to do, the whole thing is so absurd.
Until now, there was no problem with the account. I put great emphasis on building the business, even if it is very difficult. I spent days and nights contacting official distributors to get to them and access their products.
Spending time, energy, and sleepless nights, I negotiated with the biggest companies, who are official distributors. Getting into these big companies is often very difficult, but I managed to get into several of them.
I fully comply with every policy, I’m sure of that.
And now Amazon claims that I sold a fake product.
I sold APC Surge Protector which I sourced from 3 official APC vendors.
On October 9, an account review started and I can't access my funds since then. (In addition, not long after, the grocery category was suddenly gated without any explanation, and they didn't let it be ungated and hundreds of my products got stranded - I don't know what to do with this situation either). They asked for the invoices for the APC products, company documents, etc. I sent everything to Amazon, with detailed explanations.
The invoices were from the following companies: Ingram Micro, TD Synnex, Colamco, Inc.
Ingram Micro and TD Synnex (Tech Data recently acquired Synnex Corporation) are multi-companies, the largest distributors in the IT and electronics industry. Colamco, Inc., is an IT vendor with thousands of positive reviews and a serious company as well.
All three are listed on the APC page. I sourced the APC products exclusively from these three big and serious companies, which Amazon now do not accept their invoices! Despite the fact that they are even listed on the APC’s site! This is nonsense, can’t understood! Ingram Micro and TD Synnex even deliver to governments worldwide, and Amazon says it cannot check their invoices and freezes my account.
(I bet that even most of the AWS servers and network devices are from Ingram Micro or TD Synnex :D)
If Amazon does not accept an invoice from Ingram Micro, TD Synnex and Colamco, then what does it accept?! Who should I source products from for Amazon to accept them as authentic products?! How do I build my business with difficulty, lots of effort, often working at night, if they don't even accept these invoices?!
It is impossible to do more legally and correctly. I chose the biggest, most reliable companies as partners, I managed to get to them with great difficulty and then Amazon deactivates my account.
I can't believe that this could happen. Any help will be appreciated!

It sounds as if the issue is not so much where you are sourcing the items, but whether or not you have permission to resell them on Amazon. Assuming that the wholesale sources are authorized distributors (which seems to be your claim), they still likely do not have the authority to grant you permission to sell the brands on Amazon and/or other online venues. You need permission from the individual brands.

Amazon has a direct contract with APC and sells that brand under their own name.
Amazon will make exclusive deals with brands and kick 3P sellers off the listings.
That is the only brand I checked, but here lies your issue...

Contact the brands in question, ask if they have an exclusivity agreement with Amazon and otherwise get approval to sell their products on Amazon.
• detailed list of products (at least 10 per item, Product name, model number or UPC that can be verified online)) ,
• terms of sale (net30/net60/cash..)
• must be by the brand itself or a brand authorized distributor (not a retail store for the general public, not some back door pallet seller wanna be distributor )***
• your full business name and address, as entered in seller central
• a COMPLETED transaction ( order shipped),
• suppliers full name and contact details, (e-mail, phone or both)
• Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
• Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain

No, sorry. FSD has nothing at all to do with your case. You have the legal right to resell these items (although possibly not as "New", depending on various details), but that dos NOT mean that Amazon is required to allow you to sell them on their platform.
You mention "vendors did not communicate any restrictions.", but did you ask? I'm guessing "No".
When Amazon allows you to sell an item, they assume that you are a legitimate business, and have permission to sell that item on Amazon. But when they find that you do NOT have permission, they will then revoke your ability to sell that item on Amazon; furthermore, once such complaint will often trigger a closer look at EVERYTHING you are selling.
Had you read the forums a bit prior to buying these items, you likely would have learned that it often is the case that you need permission FROM THE BRAND to sell an item on Amazon, and Amazon will usually not ask for proof of permission until after your items have been questioned by the brand..

Amazon workers often don't pay attention to details. File a BBB claim and put all that information into it. Amazon will look at your claim more closely to make sure that what they are saying is accurate.

It is very simple. If you are going to sell something other than your own products you need to be dealing directly with brands and manufacturers...not resellers in any way shape or form...that includes retailers and distributors. Ideally you should be your own brand...that is why there are so many chinese knockoffs being allowed to persist just because they are sold under a different brand and trademark, and will only be restricted if there is a patent involved.

Hello @Seller_Zsh73768hW4gv
Thank you for the information provided regarding the review your account has been under. I understand that it is related to potentially counterfeit goods. Per our anti-counterfeit policy, counterfeit can also be the sale of goods that are not authorized by the rights owner. This means that even if you are sourcing from an authorized distributor you could still be in violation if you do not have permission from the rights owner.
As mentioned on the thread, our team may be looking to see that you have authorization directly from APC. Do you have any kind of authorization agreement in place with the brand? Did you ever receive any kind of authorization from their distributors? Our team will take steps to verify that you have authorization to be listing directly on the platform.
If they are unable to verify the information provided, they will reject the documentation. If you have any additional details or updates to share regarding your situation, continue to refer here for support.
Best,
Atlas

They are not likely to accept an E-mail. They will want to see specifically stated that you have authorization to sell the products on Amazon.

wow...Ingram Micro is legitimate and they definitely sell to Amazon. I wonder why they are denying those invoices? There aren't too many big players in the electronics industry, but those are the companies everyone knows about (and a few others).
Was this in regard to one surge protector from APC? Or was it several surge protectors they said were counterfeit?
I doubt APC filed a trademark claim or counterfeit claim. A lot of people sell their surge protectors. This is probably a customer complaining.

Hello @Seller_Zsh73768hW4gv
Thank you for the additional information provided regarding your situation. I understand you recently received messaging from the brand owner regarding your authorization. Was this provided to you on an official document with company letterhead? Did it explicitly state that you have authorization to be selling the product on this platform?
If so, you will want to provide the documents you have through the appeal button on the account health page. Once submitted, our team will take some time to review your documents and make the appropriate decision from there. If they cannot verify the information or it does not meet our requirements, they will reject the document.
If you have any additional questions or concerns regarding your situation, continue to refer here for support.
Best,
