Return Fraud

A customer ordered A product from us and received it Brand New. Customer returned his used product in place of the the one we sent. We contact customer to let them know to send the correct product back with the Original Serial number we sent them. long story short we had to file a Safe T Claim that has been denied even with picture of different serial numbers and completely used worn product. I am new to Amazon and i can tell you that its 80% return fraud with every item that is returned to us. I am thinking about closing this account before I go bankrupt.

As you know, Amazon's RFS return program is the biggest supporter of buyer fraud in the country. With well over one million returns daily on the site, only 3rd party sellers can submit the Safe-T Claim. The problem is this.

A Safe-T claim is only as good as to how well is it is crafted when submitted. A Standardized form for submission would be helpful, wouldn't it. But Amazon will not create one or actually state what must be contained in one when submitted. If Amazon did create submission form, they would be paying out a lot more for their fraudulent return buyers.

So... with no standardized submission form or specific guidelines, Jeff Bezos created a perfect way to deny all the claims the company wants, even when the seller has documentable evidence that the buyer is using the site to commit Fraud.

Remember, Amazon is only acting as a broker between a seller and buyer. The return scammer is not scamming Amazon, the scamming buyer is scamming you, the seller. As a licensed business in our state, we have taken scammers to court for violating our state code. They thought is was a joke, until the court ruled against them for not showing up.
