International Shipping charge from template not being applied? Help please

I have my US-based North American store active which includes Canada and Mexico. Under my shipping template, I have it set to charge an extra $20.00 since that is about what it costs to send to either of these countires. However, any time I receive an order from either of the two countries, it's charging them domestic shipping rates, meaning I have to keep cancelling orders as to not take a loss. How can I make it so my international shipping rates from my template are actually applied to purchases made in Mexico or Canada??

It sounds like you have listings on the Canadian and/or Mexican platforms.

Any order received -- for example -- from a Canadian ordering on the Canadian platform is a domestic order. Further you may not use USPS for those orders (unless small value) because the Canadian buyer ordering from that platform must not be required to pay any sort of import / customs duties or fees.

You are confusing this with international orders placed on the dot com site. Those orders will follow the charges you set in the template assigned to that item.

I would advise you to remove all listings from both the Mexican and Canadian sites, and to disable synchronization (BIL) and to put them on vacation.

Then check a couple times every month to make sure Amazon has not decided to sabotage you by adding listings there.

And if you have the Brazilian site foisted upon you, do the same there.

Greetings @Seller_FVbNfaFtJK45e,

As a previous commenter mentioned, you may be experiencing this if you have listings on the Canadian and/or Mexican platforms. Can you confirm that is the case for you?
