Amazon has become free clothing rental company
I do only FBA in clothing. Because of Amazon's worst rule in accepting clothing returns, customers are simply misusing the system where they get free clothes for their holidays and festivals, they can use for the occasion and simply return with full refund after months!!! This is just 1, but I have so many customers who are returning items bought in November 1st week making returns when Jan started. Amazon should have limited the return for clothing to 30 days period. 90 days is too much for clothing returns. They don't even check if the item is used or not(which is written in their policy) before issuing a return. Policies are something only sellers has to follow, not for amazon or customers have to follow them.

Hello @Seller_szlbXl8s4qfkp!
My name is JiAlex I am from Amazon forums. I wanted to follow up on your post, I understand it could be frustrated to see returns orders on your FBA items, especially cloths; According to our FBA policy when a return happens, in most cases, customers can request to return an item within 30 days of receiving it. However, Amazon may make case-by-case exceptions and accept return requests beyond 30 days of receipt once we received the item, we evaluate the condition of each returned item.
If we determine that it is unsellable (defective or damaged, for example), we assess who caused the damage. Then we decide if you are eligible for a reimbursement sometimes a customer is refunded for your item, but the item isn’t returned to a fulfillment center within 60 days of the refund. When this situation occurs, in most cases we’ll charge the customer and reimburse you.
If a customer returns your item to a fulfillment center within 60 days of the refund, we’ll first determine the condition of the returned item. If the returned item is sellable, we’ll return the item to your inventory and will not reimburse you.
If the returned item is unsellable, we’ll determine who is responsible for the condition. If we find Amazon is responsible for an unsellable return, we’ll reimburse you and will not add the item back to your inventory.
