How to Stop Competitors from Clicking Ads

I've been running ads for ~2 weeks now and was averaging ~0.4% CTR the first week (with several orders). However the last week my ads are averaging a 15%+ CTR (with 0 buys) and I am out of budget within the first half of the day, so my ads stop running.

This is pretty clearly the act of a competitor or nefarious party that wants me to stop running ads and it has been successful. Any suggestions?

I would request that you tell me how many impressions you had with each CTR metric.

I would need

How long the ad ran for

How many impressions it got

and the CTR

Hi @Seller_XBhB5Zae4fgQp,

Tatiana from Amazon here. I've just come across your post and wanted to provide this help page on how you can interpret invalid traffic to your campaigns. Typically, our machine learning algorithms are able to detect abusive clicking behaviors fairly quickly and often it's cleared up within the day so it doesn't have an adverse affect on your campaign.

Additionally, you can review any IVT (invalid traffic) data in the gross and invalid traffic report. If you don't see any IVT based on this report you may just need to make an adjustment to your listing quality. Although ads might be clicked on, the quality of your detail page will ultimately determine whether or not a customer decides to purchase.

If you feel like you need additional help determining whether or not invalid traffic has affected your campaigns, you can reach out to Ads Support and they will be able to take a closer look.
